Prof. Yunus and Yunus Centre

 

Professor Yunus’s vision is the eradication of poverty in the world. He thinks that the business approach can help to achieve this goal, so he promotes the development of social business in the world. He believes that colleges and universities can play an important role in growing the social business movement. They generate knowledge and ideas as they educate younger generations about the critical impact social business has in a global society. In collaborating with colleges and universities around the world, Professor Yunus set up over 20 Yunus Centre for Social Business (YCSB) around the world to promote social business among young university.
